Nipawin Hawk Acquire a New D-Man

The Nipawin Hawks continue to improve their defense for this season and the future.
The Hawks acquired 6’4 215 puck moving defenseman Jeff Clark from Winkler Flyers of the MJHL.
Head Coach and General Manager Doug Johnson says the 18 year old is big and strong and a good kid in the locker room which is what the team needs going forward in the season they are still in the hunt for that 5th survivor series spot. Clark will be in the line-up tonight against the Yorkton Terriers last time the Hawks played the Terriers itwas in Yorkton and Brody Hoffman shutout them out in a 3-0 win.
The Hawks have also traded defenseman Chad Crawford to the Bonnyville Pontiacs of the AJHL for future considerations which opens a card spot on the Hawks roster something they needed to do.
The Battlefords North Stars have 19 games left this season while Nipawin has 22 they’ve got to take advantage of those games in  hand right away or there’s the chance of possible movement more on January 10th.
As the Trade Deadline approaches I’ll try my best to get you guys informed on whats going on all day as it goes for the Humboldt Broncos, Melfort Mustangs and the Hawks.
